Notes |
- John Fish belongs in this family, as evidenced in the will of James Fish, his father, in 1834. Please see source for John's birth. However, no christening record has been found to date for a John, son of James and Jane Fish.
There is a christening record for a John Fish on 29 November 1778 at the Lower Independent Chapel at Over Darwen, the son of "Jno. and Jane Fish" of Dye House. This clearly does not refer to the son John listed in James'will, as he had a son, James christened on 14 December 1778.
