    • BIRTH: Salt Lake Temple Records list her birthplace as York, York, Pennsylvania.
      The birth date listed for Elizabeth is taken from a church record listing a daughter born to Schim Strong. This birth date is given with no mother's name and no name for the child. It is unsure if this is a correct birth date for Elizabeth. Some people think this daughter born to Schim Strang is the last child born to James Strong Sr. and his wife Mary Imenhauser. There is no proof to support that assumption either. Mary would have been very old to be having children in 1796 (age 51). For the time being we are letting the date stand as listed, being aware that this may later be found to be an error.
