    1. [S282] E-Mail from June Carroll.
I got my answer back from the lady that is a niece of June Kern. She says she doesn't know anything about George Jennings' siblings but will pass my information on to who she thinks is a relation of William Jennings. Time will tell. Anyway this is what she sent me on George's wife.
Mary June (Kern) Jennings (called June)
Born: June 24, 1915 in Le Mars, Plymouth County, IA
Died: June 30, 1997 in Le Mars, Plymouth County, IA
      Buried: Le Mars Memorial cemetery
      Father: William Christian Kern
      Mother: Mary Ellen (Shoemaker) Kern
They retired in Le Mars but lived in Minneapolis MN, Beaver Falls, PA and a little while in Wheaton, IL
      They never had any children.
When I looked up June's father in World War I draft records he had signed his name as William Christrand Kern born 31 Mar 1874. I wonder if he didn't know how to spell his middle name or if it was suppose to be this different spelling. Anyway I guess I'll go with Christian. It's a little like Jasper's middle name signed by him as Haram in draft records. Who knows??
      till later, June
