      Deceased Name: Harvey E. Odds Hartman
      A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, in Canby Funeral Chapel for Harvey E. Odds Hartman, who died Oct. 2 at age 80.

      Mr. Hartman was born May 15, 1918, in Silverton. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an electrician in the Portland area for many years, retiring in 1977. He married Edith R. Johnston in 1942.

      Survivors include his wife; daughter, Susan Burkert of Canby; sister, Naomi Dunn of Bandon; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

      Private interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery.
