OBITUARY FOR FLOYD CARROLL

Floyd M. Carroll, dies in mishap
A Kelso logger was injured fatally late this morning when a log rolled across his body.
Killed was Floyd M. Carroll, 53, of Hawthorne Street, Kelso. He died in a Longview hospital shortly after the accident. Members of the family said the accident occurred about 11 o'clock at Carroll's logging operation near Ostrander.
Carroll was born at Ostrander. Survivors include the widow, Dove; three sons, Floyd G. and Thomas of Kelso and Sam of Olympia; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Leach and Mrs. Pat King both of Kelso; six grandchildren; a brother, Archie of Longview, his mother, Mrs. Edna Carroll of Longview.
Funeral arrangements are pending. The Reardon funeral home is in charge
