Kelsonian, Kelso, Cowlitz County, WAPaper dated 26 Oct 1918, Page 4, column 5, SaturdayHoover Baby diesDelmar Hoover the ten months old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hoover passed away Wednesday afternoon in a Portland hospital following an operation. The baby has been sick for about six weeks suffering from intestinal trouble and was taken to Portland Tuesday for treatment. The remains were brought here where funeral services were held yesterday. Rev. O. F. Kreiger officiating. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. (now Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens)
