OBITUARY The Daily World Aberdeen, Washington Friday, November 21, 1969 Mrs. Lenora Hoover Hoquiam- Mrs. Lenora Stewart Hoover 83, a Hoquiamite for the past 46 years, died at a local hospital yesterday. She was born Dec 2, 1885 at Atkinson, Neb., and came to Astoria as a young woman. In 1923 she came to Grays Harbor. She was a charter member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Astoria chapter and was a long time member of Mizpah Chapter 30 Order of Easter Star. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret H. Watkins, Aberdeen; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Scharschug, Seal Beach, Calif.; a daughter-in-law Mrs. Charles (Zolka) Hoover, Hoquiam; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family's favorite charity is the Grays Harbor Chapter of the American Red Cross. There will be no funeral at the request of the late Mr. Hoover.
