OBITUARY FOR GEORGE HOOVER
Longview Daily News
HOOVER, George 82, 1504 N. 1st, Kelso, died Feb 17 in a local hospital. Born July 2, 1884 in Oregon City, he had lived here since 1886. He was a member of the Kelso First Baptist church and a retired logger.
Survivors include the widow, Agnes at home; two sons, Elmer of Kelso and Cliford of San Diego; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Krenz of St Helens, and Mrs. Bonnie Knudtson of Junction City, Ore; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Cowlitz view Memorial Gardens. Ditlevsen-Moore funeral Home is in charge.
