      Ivy M. Jennings, 93, of Le Mars, Iowa died Sunday, August 26, 1990, in Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars after a brief illness.
      Mrs. Jennings, the former Ivy Morehead, was born March 17, 1897, at Adaville, Iowa, the daughter of Wilbur and Ellen (Fletcher) Morehead. She was a lifelong Plymouth County resident. On August 19, 1943, she married LeRoy Jennings at Adaville. He died January 9, 1973. She was a homemaker.
      Mrs. Jennings was a member of First Baptist Church in Le Mars, Ruth Circle and Baptist Women's Fellowship. She was a member of Plymouth County Veterans of World War I Auxiliary and Le Mars Sunshine Club.
      Survivors include a sister, Gertrude Brown of Merrill, Iowa; a brother, Lloyd Morehead of Akron, Iowa and numerous nieces and nephews.
      She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Vernon, and four sisters, Nell Raber, Vera Wright, Marie Hinzman and Phoebe Patrick.

      Ivy M. Jennings

      Ivy M. Jennings, 93, longtime LeMars resident, died Sunday (Aug. 26, 1990) at Plymouth Manor Care Center.

      Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in LeMars with Rev. Gordon Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

      Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday with the family present from 7-8:30 p.m. in Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

      The former Ivy Morehead, was born March 17, 1897, at Adaville, daughter of Wilbur and Ellen Fletcher Morehead. She was a lifelong Plymouth County resident. On Aug. 19, 1943, she married LeRoy Jennings at Adaville. He died Jan. 9, 1973.

      Mrs. Jennings was a member of the First Baptist Church in LeMars; Ruth Circle and Baptist Women’s Fellowship. She was a member of World War I auxiliary and LeMars Sunshine Club.

      Survivors are a sister, Gertrude Brown, of Merrill; a brother Lloyd Morehead of Akron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
