William died in his 30s (must have been late 30s) and his wife had already left him so children were placed in a home and then Roy took the boys. It must have been some time after the 1920 census as William, Lottie and 4 children are still together in that census. The children were about 11, 9 and 7 when Roy got them. The letter I got from Roy’s wife said that William and Lottie died within 7 months of each other. I haven’t proven dates yet. Ivy, Roy’s second wife said there were 14 children in the Jennings family and Roy was the 13th. (Glenn being the last) I have a letter written from her in 1973.
