James was born 2 June 1855 in Illinois (don't know where in Illinois) He died 11 January 1916 (heart attack) in Platte twp., Dodge County, NE. in the barn. (This is what is on his death certificate but William and Edith's deaths are listed in Fremont and I know it is all the same home/barn) All are buried in the Ridge Cemetery in Fremont, Dodge County, NE.
