      Death of Mrs. Jennings.
      Mrs. John Jennings died at her home in Young & Corkery’s addition on Sunday, aged 61. Her death was due to an attack of pneumonia, although she had been in poor health for the past years. Mrs. Jennings leaves a husband and large family to mourn her death. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the First Baptist church at 2 o’clock, Rev. L. H. Steinhoff officiating

      Mrs. John Jennings was born in Pennsylvania June 25, 1847. Her maiden name was Mary Ann Wilson. Her parents removed to Illinois and afterward to Iowa. It was at Muscatine, Iowa, July 3, 1865, she married Mr. Jennings with whom she came to LeMars in 1881. Fourteen children were born to them, eight of whom are still living. Two daughters and one son are living in Colorado, but the other daughter, Mrs. Scott Seaworth, and four of the sons were beside her when she passed away. Mrs. Jennings had been in failing health for over a year. During the past three weeks she had been confined to her bed and in spite of every medical attention and the most loving care died on Sunday, Nov. 8th, about noon. Mrs. Jennings had never professed faith in Christ but during the past year she sought and found a Saviour. She was a loving wife and mother and leaves behind her many cherished memories for her loved ones of unselfish and loving deeds.

      The funeral of the late Mrs. John Jennings who died at her home in Young & Corkery’s addition on Sunday of pheumonia, was held at this first Baptist church on Tuesday afternoon, the pastor Rev. L. H. Steinhoff officiating and was attended by many friends
