[Note: This seems to be the plot where Almira E. Crane Simeral born Oct. 28, 1832 and died Dec. 7, 1903 was buried with her first husband, John H. Simeral born Dec. 14, 1825 and died Dec. 21, 1891.]

p5c5 A Pioneer dead - Wm. Franklin an old pioneer resident of Clackamas county and whose home was close to the Marion county line, died last Sunday and was buried at Miller cemetery, three miles north of Silverton on Tuesday the 15 inst. Decedent came to Oregon at an early day & took up a clain on Crooked Fingir prairie where he resided for several years and then moved to Clackmas county. He was the step father of W. L. Clarence and A. F. Simeral of Waldo Hils.
