    Jacob and Sarah Hill Strong
    Jacob and Sarah were married in Strongstown, Indiana County, PA where they joined the Mormon church. They moved to Nauvoo in 1840. In 1846 they emigrated west with the Mormon pioneers in the Silas Richards Company to Salt Lake.

    • SECOND ANNOINTING: Completed by proxy in the Salt Lake Temple on the 14 February 1905, with Elizabeth C. Swaner Strong as proxy. John Winder officiated. This is recorded in the Personal Family Record of James T. Strong on p. 29. Book in possession of Florie Fullmer.

      BAPTISM-ENDOWMENT: In the Official Temple Records contained on FHL film 1760724, the following proxy dates are listed for the Jordan River Temple: Baptism 28 Feb 1991; Endowment 25 July 1991.

      PATRIARCHAL BLESSING: Given 15 June 1852 in Salt Lake City; Recorded in Patriarchal Blessings, Vol. 12, page 152, no. 357, as recorded in the Early Church Information Card Index, FHL film 0820146.

      ANCESTRY: In the 1850 Census, Sarah is noted as having been born in Maryland. As we research Sarah's ancestry, it should be noted that there are also apparently Hills of German , as well as English, ancestry.
