    Elizabeth and her family joined the Mormon church in Denmark and emigrated to St. Louis on a ship. This is the story of their journey from Denmark to Salt Lake. She later became the wife of James T. Strong. Told by daughter-in-law, Ida Rich Strong.

    • INFORMATION ON ELISABETH VERIFIED BY PROFESSIONAL DANISH RESEARCHER, LAURA HANSEN.
      BIRTH DATE: A professional researcher stated that apparently Elizabeth C. Swaner did not know her own birthdate, which was not unusual, as the family immigrated to the United States and may have left birth records behind, or they may not have celebrated birthdays as is now common, so the actual date may have been confused.
      SECOND ANOINTING: James T. and Elizabeth C. Strong received their second annointings on 17 February1905 through Bishop John Winder as recorded in the Personal Record of James T. Strong, p. 29.
