Communication between Florie Fullmer (Salt Lake City) and June Carroll (Kelso, Washington) 7 Dec 2007
[Florie] I notice in your note. . . that John J. Johnson is listed with the other children in the guardianship appointment in 1883. He wasn’t even there was he? He was with William in Nebraska.
Did John ever marry? I found him in the 1900 Census-as you did. It’s kind of sad to not know what finally happened to him.
Hello Florie,
I don't know what to think about John being on the guardianship papers as we know he was with William and family for a while. (By Sarah's letter and census) I'm also pretty sure he came out to this area, perhaps when the girls did. I was told one time he delivered mail in a town south of me but I've never found any proof on that either.
I haven't been able to locate him anywhere and don't know if he ever married. John Johnson isn't the easiest name to trace. Yes, I would have liked to have found him. till later, June
