MARRIAGE:
1) Martha was 16 when she crossed the plains. She met William on the trip to Salt Lake City.
2) Martha selected Harriet Neeley, William's second wife. Harriet was 18 and in need of a home.
3) The IGI indicates that both Martha and her daughter, Harriet Louisa Strong were married to a Benjamin Franklin Harrington. More research is needed to confirm or disprove this.
